Overview
About Me
I am an optimist, a hard worker, and (as many people on here are) a wanderer. I have yet to meet a person I don't like! I graduated college in 2016, worked for a year, and now have some savings I want to spend by seeing the United States (if I had the money: the world!). I am a physicist, a musician, a writer, a public speaker, a gamer (board, card, table-top, and video), a software developer, a baseball fan, and an Ultimate Frisbee player. I love the outdoors, the indoors, new food, old favorites, good friends, and great stories. But enough about me: I know who I am; tell me about yourself! It is my opinion that everyone has a story, and I earnestly want to hear yours!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I just finished a long road trip around the USA, and am now residing on the east coast. I am looking to explore as much of the south as I can, and am hoping to have as many opportunities to travel as I can. I will open my house up as soon as I have one, but for now I just love both to travel and meet people :)
Interests
I can't stress enough: There is nothing (non-harmful, that is) in this world I am not open to. I can go on and on about the things I enjoy, but I would just bore you with the details. I am in love with the world and all it has to offer!

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite book: The White Boy Shuffle
Music (Lately): Math Rock, Trip Hop, Alternative Rock, Metal, Classical, and literally anything else.
Movies: I have maybe seen 100 or so movies in my life (not that many, if one really does the math). I don't really have a favorite (but maybe I need to expand my tastes before I do).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I chased interviews around the country, went on a month-long road trip, and ended up moving across the country from California to North Carolina!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach database engineering in a weekend, I can help you with your finances, and I can give you a breakdown of how to music. I am open to teaching or sharing anything I have to offer. My brain is ripe for picking!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I spin a great story, have a taste for good alcohol, and an affinity for jamming on some music. Sadly, I am not exotic enough to make much of an impression, but I sincerely hope I can bring something new to the table!
