Über mich

[This profile is a work in progress and may be edited in the near future and without notice. You have been warned.]

Ever since I was young, I've always wanted to travel and go places and have never been interested in staying in one place very long. Circumstances have always made that difficult, but if I had my way, my life would be completely nomadic. I'm working towards that now. I may not be able to be fully nomadic, but I've decided that I'm going to travel as much as I can and I'm not letting anything get in the way of that!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Short term? I need a place to crash when I go to North Carolina to catch two Slayer shows. Long term? I love meeting new people, hanging out with them, and introducing them to where I live. The only hitch to that is I currently don't have my own place and can't host. I plan to change that in the future.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I had to think about this one really hard because I honestly can't think of anything really super amazing that I remember. I mean, they're all interesting stories (to me) but it's my life so it seems boring to me and in the grand scheme of things, it's all trivial, trifling, selfish shit. However, I realised the most amazing thing I've done is actually be alive. I'm not saying this to be cliche. I'm dead serious, because I almost didn't make it past 48 hours old. I was born premature and within 24 hours, my right lung collapsed, I went into cardiac arrest, and was clinically dead for a short period of time. I have a chest tube scar under my right pectoral muscle. So yeah, the most amazing thing about me is that I'm not dead. Depending on how you look at it, that's either incredible or really depressing. Make of it what you will. C'est la vie.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I don't really know if I have anything to teach you. The more I learn, the more I discover how little I actually know.

Learn? Yeah, I can probably learn quite a bit from you. What do you have to teach?

Share? Isn't this redundant?

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

I done told y'all it was redundant!
