Music, Movies, and Books

I have a really broad taste in music - finding new artists and spending a few hours listening to tracks is one of my favourite things to do. Some of my favourite artists are Future Island, Father John Misty, Bon Iver, the Killers, Arcade Fire, David Bowie as well as some techno/electronic artists like Peggy Gou and Bicep!

I most enjoy classic novels by Dickens, Fitzgerald, Tolstoy etc but also enjoy new novels by authors such as Khaled Hosseini, David Grossman and Kazuo Ishiguro.

In terms of movies, I don't have a particular taste but generally love films by Wes Anderson (Isle of Dogs!!). Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri with Frances Mcdormand, Fences with Denzel Washington, The Theory of Everything, La La Land, Call Me by Your Name are some of my favourite films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done is hitchhike from Sofia, Bulgaria to Athens. My friend and I decided to male up our journey as we went along and didn't plan anything more than 24 hours in advance - it was such an incredible way to travel. I have never felt more free than during this trip. We met some amazing people along the way and had some great conversations during the car journeys - it totally changed my opinion of hitchhiking, making me realise that there is something inherently kind in human nature and the sheer diversity of people that live in the world!
