I am a man who loves three things: learning, storytelling, and harmony. I'm currently a student at Colorado State University studying mathematics, but when I'm not studying, I enjoy video gaming, drinking and laughing with friends, and reading.

Couchsurfing is the perfect opportunity to make lifelong friends (or make lifelong lessons, if you catch my drift).
I wish to learn all there is to learn on this Earth. People are the most complex topic, and I figured CS is like getting answers straight from the horse's mouth.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Folk, Bluegrass, blues, oldies. I really enjoy the Punch Brothers and Nickel Creek, but Moddi and other pretty songs really sing to me as well.
Movies: Not picky about movies, but I don't enjoy them as much as books.
Books: My favorite book is an autobiography about Paul Dirac: The Strangest Man.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I improvised a violin solo with Mark Wood during one of his concerts and broke the e-string on the violin he lent me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach bits and bobs from my academic background: mathematics, physics, chemistry, oration, simple programming.
I want to learn German, other cultures, and many new jokes and stories.
I can share stories, jokes, cheerfulness, and chores -- I never like leaving a place messier than it was when I arrived.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Simple cooking, meticulous cleaning, stories and laughter.
I'm an English wordsmith, so I can write or revise English papers, help with mathematics and science, and aid you if you have some computer problems.
I'm a very good listener and a fine masseuse.
