I am a university student studying Russian language and international relations. I grew up in a big family on an apple farm in the United States (Massachusetts) and study in Washington D.C. I love cultural exchange whether it be language or food etc. Some of my favorite things are spending time outdoors (especially hiking) growing food, cooking new dishes and of course traveling. Musica, film e libri

I like most types of music but I especially enjoy jazz, classic soul, indie and electronic music and music from the 1980's. I love watching foreign films especially Russian and Italian films. My favorite blockbuster series though is definitely Star Wars. I'm a big fan of Bond and Indiania Jones as well. I enjoy reading academic books on virology and energy as those are some of my interests. I really love mystery novels too.

Two of my favorites: Riding horses through the mountains in Kamchatka, Russia and visiting a remote Ryokan in Hokkaido, Japan during the winter and gazing out at the stars from the hot springs.
