Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to get a much more authentic experience while travelling the world, and being able to stay and hang out with locals, even for a couple days, definitely enriches the experience. I tried CS a couple times before with my friends, and I absolutely loved it!

Interests

I played in the undergraduate orchestra back in university, and I enjoy computer programming. I also frequently go on hiking trips in the weekends, and my favorite travel destinations are in Latin America (probably because of the hiking).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, while on top of Cerro Negro (a volcano in Nicaragua), the wind blew my glasses off my face. I went on my hands and knees down the side of this semi-active volcano reeking of sulfur until I found my glasses. Needless to say, I got contacts very soon after this trip.
