About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Broadening my horizons and going with the flow

ABOUT ME

I am a very laid back guy that is easy to get along with. I grew up in Hawaii, and wanted a new experience after high school so I moved to Colorado for college and stayed there for 7 years. I just recently finished my graduate studies and am travelling through Thailand for almost 7 weeks.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that everything happens for a reason, that karma is very real, and that we can all learn something from each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Trying to meet new people whenever I can, whether they think similarly to myself or not

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Brand-spanking new (be gentle)

Interests

I spend my time usually by hanging out with friends, but when travelling I love to immerse myself into the culture, learn the language and customs, and try to meet new friends internationally. I'm very into sustainable lifestyles and thinking about ways to have less of an impact on the environment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Armenia is the first country to adopt Christianity as it's national religion, so they have the oldest Christian churches in the world dating back to 500 AD. These churches are entirely made of stone with vaulted ceilings 40 feet tall and intricate carvings everywhere.
Travelling through Chiang Mai in Thailand for the first 3 weeks of my current trip really made an impression on me about how friendly the local Thai people are. Smile at a stranger, and they always smile back.
