About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I dont want my life to end up in a career, 20 years at one desk sounds no fun at all. I want the world to be accessible to me. Couch surfing may enable me to have a complete understanding of different parts of the world.

ABOUT ME

I've got a great job right now that enables me to go back to school and to afford traveling once a year. This summer I'm going backpacking through Europe for a month. I was an exchange student in Finland for a year so the summer of '09 I WILL go back and visit my friends and host families, it'll be a ten year reunion. After I get my BFA I want to teach English as a foreign language in Thailand and look into the Peace Corps.

PHILOSOPHY

Focus on what compels you to live and not what's necessary to live.
Pretty profound huh?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: NIN, Tool, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Nirvana and anything that's not irritating.
Movies: Woody Allen, Tarantino, The Jerk, Blazing Saddles, Zeitgeist, Outfoxed, Jesus Camp.
Books: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Ishmael, I'm working on Confessions on an Economic Hit Man (A must read for anyone interested in the global tyranny that is the US government - home sweet home)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My year as an exchange student in Finland.

Teach, Learn, Share

If your trying to draw an actual object, set your paper up so you can look at the object and your paper at the same time. You will be able to check your drawing visually instead of from memory.

I want to learn about life in every corner of the world. Is that vague enough?
