About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Document each and every travelogue of mine, be it through photography, music or just crazy experiences so that one day when I'm 80 and have grandchildren I can brag about all the whacky stuff I did.

ABOUT ME

Well being taught the piano since I was 3 years old learnt the Do-Re-Mi before my ABC's, turned out to be good at this stuff so despite being from a typical Indian family where creative professionals are condemned, and not being a engineer or doctor is not the norm, decided to take up music as my career, currently in pursuit to get into Berklee College of Music, Boston.

Teenage years when hormones are raging and trying to find yourself in this ever changing community, documentary photography was something I adored, because if something would keep me awake at night it was surely something to pursue, so currently learning the art of story telling thorough images, still shoot on a film slr, because you learn best from your personal mistakes and every frames hurts your wallet.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that every person in this world craves one thing that is social acceptance, they try to mold themselves into fake people to just be accepted by the society, just be yourself, don't care what others will think about you, there are 7 billion people on planet earth, you will definitely find someone as weird as you and they may be not very far.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Really not sure what to fill into this block, if it means as to how am I towards new situations and how I participate into something new and unknown I'm totally in for it. Every person you meet has something to teach you which you don't know. So hope to meet really interesting people through this medium.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never tried this thing, never even believed in it for the first time but will surely be willing to do it.

Interests

Exotic instruments, interesting people living in interesting places, very technical in any field that I am interested in, trekking, tasting new food, staying at unknown people's homes.

Music, Movies, and Books

Nearly all Martin Scorsese movies, love documentary and art films, love Jazz and blues and try to mix them into modern genres and be different, last read book was by Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I have travelled from Virar to Churchgate at 7am in a packed Virar local in Bombay, if you can tackle that then you can live in any part of the world. Seen a drunken guy kill a chicken in a running train compartment.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I play a plethora of instruments and am always in search of new ones and have a principal in life, if I had paid to learn it I charge to teach it, if learnt on my own I teach for free. Willing to learn nearly anything interesting be it from castrating a pig or painting a musical symphony.
