ABOUT ME

I am a pretty easygoing guy. I am usually up for anything. I like lots of different sports and activities. I am now quite into photography so my mind works in a different way than it used to in that I'm always looking for a good angle or good light.

I have traveled a bunch but it's very addictive! I like seeing new things and beautiful places. Sometimes when you stay in one place too long you don't appreciate it as much. So it's good to get away and see the world!

I grew up in Saskatoon, Canada. I moved to Switzerland in 2009 to become a watchmaker and then lived in Ireland. But Canada is where I call home now.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to have a good time without ruining it for others! Basically have respect for one another.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I've tried to host a few people but it hasn't quite worked out yet. I had one bad experience with a host cancelling on me less than 24h before my arrival in Zurich. And Zurich is expensive last minute which was quite annoying. But I'm optimistic there are god experiences to be had!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new here so far. I've surfed a friends couch but does that really count? I am excited to meet some people while traveling through this site. I think it would be a much better travel experience than just going somewhere and doing what Tripadvisor says. Locals always have the best knowledge!

Mostly comedy and action movies. Some faves:

Music I like is a pretty wide range, but mostly rock and rap/hip-hop

I don't read many books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped off the Verzasca dam in Switzerland, the same bungee jump as James Bond in the film Goldeneye.
