Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find out who I meet tomorrow.
ABOUT ME
I live life with a smile on my face and a new adventure on the horizon. I am dynamic, spontaneous, and known for an uncompromising wit. I dream often and laugh a lot. I love to dance, even though I look like fool while doing it.
There are an infinite amount of experiences to pursue and people to meet; I plan on making as many meaningful connections as possible.
If I were a dinosaur, I'd be an Apatosaurus (a.k.a, Little Foot), because I envy their long, stoic necks. Yes, I am a dork.
PHILOSOPHY
"Why do I live my life?" That is an interesting prompt. I live my life because as far as can be known we only have one. Why waste it on not living this life, and loving those in it.
Connection: Is why I live. Humans are not creatures of isolated confinement, but beings that crave connection and community.
I live life to find out who I will meet tomorrow.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have not been a part of the CS Meetup groups in San Francisco yet, but I plan on changing that!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been both host and surfer. If I were asked to choose one over the other, I couldn't. Both are so much fun!
Interests
Some of my favorite things deal with food -- any kind of food. Before moving to Thailand I was salivating over the thoughts of fresh pad thai, and hot noodle soup along the river or the sea. Thailand's food has more than met my expectations.
With my unquenchable appetite for all things delicious, climbing and running keep me in shape. I either run in the mornings or at night, and I usually climb in the evenings.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: The Decemberists, The XX, Swedish House Mafia, Rihanna (yes, pop music is, indeed, fun), Justin Townes Earle, Childish Gambino, The Black Keys, Dirty Gold, Santigold
Books: The Tao of Pooh, Leaving Microsoft to Change the World, Atlas Shrugged, Demons, Crime and Punishment, Harry Potter (I told you I'm a dork), and the Dark Tower Series.
Food: All of it! I really enjoy trying new foods whether out or in my own kitchen. I have a convenient knack of taking ingredients, throwing them together, and whipping up something tasty. My signature dish, when I am not just throwing random things into a pot, is seafood paella.
Movies: Big Lebowski, Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Darjeeling Limited, Truman Show, Shawshank Redemption, Billy Madison, Elephant, Last Days, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Oldboy
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think the most amazing thing I have seen and done so far is climbing to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro and seeing the sun rise from beneath the clouds. It was the most surreal and overwhelmingly beautiful thing I have ever seen.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I am quite the organizational planner; although, in my own life I am more a practitioner of anarchy and chaos. I can either teach you how to use Strategic Planning to build organizational capacity and broaden bandwidth (you can wake up now), or maybe I can teach you how to do graffiti-stencil art like Banksy, but nowhere near as good.
Learn:
I love languages, and always try to pick up at least a little bit from those I host or stay with.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am quite the cook, and am known for making deliciousness out of randomness. Or I can just make you laugh with a corny joke.
Countries I’ve Visited
