COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last summer me and three friends used CS on a road trip from LA to Durham, NC. We found it invaluable and now I'm returning the favor.

Interests

Keeping in touch with old friends and making news ones. Watching movies I love. Eating well. Running. Reading (novels, philosophy), writing (both) and thinking (about politics, art, music, film) basically all the time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wading in a sun-heated dam pool at midnight, in Clanwilliam, South Africa, full moon and millions of stars above, having just seen caves full of paleolithic clay paintings.

Driving to Robert Smithson's Spiral Jetty in the salt flats of Utah, two hours off the highway. Standing at one end of the Jetty while my best friend stood at the other, it turns out, almost a mile away. We had a completely intelligible conversation.
