About Me

I'm originally from LA but moved to Seattle for my graduate studies 5 years ago. I fell in love with the city, particularly the gay scene. I helped to found an a cappella group here and in addition I'm heavily involved in local public space issues and transportation advocacy groups.

I'm conversationally fluent in French but I am always looking for opportunities to improve. Often times I'm out exploring the city or the surrounding hiking areas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Give others the chance to experience the city that I love. I also enjoy speaking french and meeting new people. I'm a good cook and I know lots of hidden jewels around the city.

My ideal couchsurfer: Someone who is self-sufficient, easy-going and clean. If he/she happens to throw some quarters my way for laundry that's always a plus!!!

Interests

I'm a big outdoor enthusiast but I also like exploring cities. I'm a big skyscraper and public transit nerd. I'll take a bus or train in a town just to see how it differs from another one. I am a Materials Engineer but I'm trying to move into the world of data analysis and programming.

I'm involved in some local non-profits in Seattle in enhance public spaces and infrastructure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While celebrating my birthday in Marseilles, I got some cotton from a q-tip trapped in my ear and I successfully navigated the French medical system using my limited broken French. Three days later, the cotton was out.
