Travelling closer to home in Canada/USA. Going to try to get to Scandanavia and Australia though.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia where I got to camp every summer and experience the amazing nature of our little island. I moved to Halifax to attend university, and got a degree in Computer Science. I've lived in NS almost my whole life... with brief stints in British Columbia, New Brunswick and a summer spent in the United Kingdom where I got to travel to several Western European cities. Also got to back-pack around Germany and other more west-central European countries.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live by the golden rule. I am easy going and easily entertained. I love just walking around exploring any place I've never been... be it a city or forest or beach.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have so far hosted many people (or pairs of travelers) and it has been a wonderful experience to meet and show people around our city. I had amazing experiences as well, being a guest of so many fine hosts in Europe in summer 2007. 2008 was a successful hosting year at our new place. Looking forward to hosting again in summer 2009!

兴趣

I love music and play drums. Sports like hockey, cycling, hiking, tennis, ultimate. Strategy board games are a passion of mine (Eurogames like Settlers, Puerto Rico). I am a vegetarian / mostly vegan.
