Greetings fellow world travelers, adventure seekers, kind hosts, and couch sleepers. Setting off to a foreign country and experiencing the culture like a local is one of the most liberating experiences out there. A special thank you goes out to the kind families and friends that have given me a place to stay during my adventures aboard and who shared a small part of what they call life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My girlfriend (Rebecca) and I (Aaron) have both been unofficial couchsurfers and hosts for years now. We've enjoyed opening our house to fellow couchsurfers in hopes of showing them some Bay Area experiences. Starting April 2016 we are traveling through South America and SE Asia on a year-long journey abroad. We are looking forward to meeting new people and experiencing life as a local.
