About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I would like to travel the world. Obvious enough I suppose. So a bit more imaginative: I would like to take a trip, big or small, every year for the rest of my life! I got home from a year trip through some of East Asia and Europe and am now settled back into life in Portland and want to host folks in this lovely city!
ABOUT ME
My two biggest passions are traveling and music, in no particular order. That being said, I am interested in many other things (teaching, history, learning) except for one that I have found so far: genealogy. Not sure why...the family tree just hasn't enthralled me quite yet.
Along my journeys I have noticed how wonderfully intertwined music and traveling are as well!
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life to feel content. I think it's one of the most difficult things to get right.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I'm not traveling I host CSers and have in Nebraska and Portland and have met some amazing local folks through various CS groups. And, of course, surfing couches with lovely people from all over the world when I am traveling.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have slept on couches throughout the western states, Asia, and Europe and have hosted people in Omaha, NE and Portland, OR. Such good people, and such strange connections with people halfway across the country.
Interests
Music, traveling, people, hiking, biking, talking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The best place I have ever been is on top of a mountain in the Swiss Alps in Brienz, Switzerland. The most beautiful place I've ever been is Northern Vietnam. I guess I like mountains.
