Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
Living life, learning all I can, writing lies, and nourishing myself and those who come into my life
ABOUT ME
I'm just a guy. I love to read and write; cooking and food are vastly important to me...I like to eat, but not nearly so much as I like to feed people. I love baking bread. Like many of you I'm in the middle of a journey, traveling, learning about the things I have a passion for, and trying to find my place.
PHILOSOPHY
Learn everything you can. Don't judge people. Fanaticism, in all it's flavors, is dangerous.
Intereses
Food. Farming. Baking bread. Cooking. Reading. Writing. Knitting. Preservation and Fermentation. Parentheticals, asides, alternate titles, and footnotes.

Música, películas y libros
Movies by Hayao Miyazaki, Wes Anderson, Danny Boyle. I love docu(propaganda)mentaries on almost any subject. Books about cooking and farmering, Jon Seymour, Ruhlman, Bourdain, Scott Chaskey, Matsumoto; science fiction, weird fantasy, and comics of all stripes...Gaiman, Warren Ellis, Heinlein, Frank Herbert, to name just a few. Music...all sorts, from indie rock bands three people have ever heard of to weird and or scary electronic music, that my Grandmother would deny was even music.
Algo increíble que he hecho
I'm unsure whether I've every done anything amazing, or if everything I've done is amazing. I wrote a novel about a cannibal...it's a food book. That's amazing if only for the sheer unlikely nature of the thing.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
Bread baking(all baking, really, but bread is my specialty). I'm a fine cook, and an A+ prep chef, if you need an onion diced, I'm your man. I'm well-versed in the fine art of pickling and jamming, and am a neophyte alcohol maker, both beer and wine. I'm knowledgeable about the cannon of old-school science fiction. I've just finished my first summer of farm work, and am quite happy up to my elbows in dirt, but I'm still learning, and welcome any and all opportunities to learn more.
