ABOUT ME
I recently quit my job, moved out of my house, sold the majority of my possessions, and hit the road with a backpack. Im a seeker. I don't know what I'm seeking yet, but I'm determined to have a damn good time between now and then!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why pay for accommodation when you can share it with new people?
Interests
I'm not sure if I have enough characters to post all of my interests, but I'm very open minded and easily pleasable. I enjoy conversation, and understanding peoples point of view. I'm always striving to learn, but enjoy talking about the 'why' in life (philosophy, psychology, spirituality). I enjoy (trying) to play guitar, reading new and fascinating books, and having beers around campfires on a full moon! I've been trying my hand at wood carving and leather stamping recently, and want to start learning new languages too!

Music, Movies, and Books
Every song/album/artist has something to bring to the table, and I'm at that table with open ears. I help to coordinate a folk music festival at home, and am exposed to a lot of singer songwriter, jazz, blues, and alternative music through it. I also enjoy indie, rock, punk, and a bit of hip hop as well.
I enjoy learning, so my books are generally ones that teach me something new, or help me grasp new perspectives. Recently, I've been on the Tom Robbins train, I also dig Henry Thoreau, George Orwell, Khaled Hosseini, and Mark Rowlands to name a few. My collection is endless and ever changing!

Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a conversationalist with a desire to learn. I want to know you, what you think, and why you are the way you are. I consider my self a decent cook, a connoisseur of cheap wine, and an appreciator of the arts.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share food, drink, conversation, music, books, ideas, and even underwear if it isn't laundry day. Humanity wouldn't exist without openness and sharing, and I'm hear to practice it.
I believe in everything, nothing is sacred.
