PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm constantly doing self-improvement through subtle changes in attitude and belief. Focusing on the positive and contemplating things outside of myself.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted a few times when I lived in apartments in Chicago and had a blast getting to know people and showing them the town. I really enjoy meeting fellow travelers.
Interests
I'm really into good food. Not super fancy food. Not super expensive food. Food that was treated with respect and given the proper preparation it deserves.
Also interested in music of all kinds, movies of all kinds, exercise of my mind and body, people as a whole, individuals with stories, travel, and positivity.

Music, Movies, and Books
It's hit and miss. I like critically acclaimed movies. I also love terrible B-Movies. It all depends on my mood.
Music is just as eclectic, if not more so.
I really enjoy books that make me think. I like to have my mind blown on a regular basis. Right now I'm re-reading Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. Other favorites include Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut, Nietzsche's Human, All too Human & On the Genealogy of Morality, Daniel Quinn's Ishmael.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I walked the old goat trail that connects the five cities in Cinque Terre, Italy bare footed. People called me, "loco" for it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to teach people how to be self-sufficient in the kitchen and not rely on unhealthy trends of eating out constantly. I would also like to share philosophical conversations with people of different religious and philosophical backgrounds.
I would love to learn anything people have to offer. Building houses, mechanics of a car, how to sail, proper gardening techniques, how to express myself in new ways.
