Overview
About Me
I'm a twenties bloke who believes that life could and should be differently interesting. I'm a fun, paradoxical, open, deep, multidimensional, sarcastic, gentle, intense and oh-so-funky (hahaha) easy going multicultural (Indo-Iranian) boy, who believes that traveling is the best education any human being can afford.
I'm a sucker for a good sense of humor, a good meal, & some spontaneous adventures. I also believe in random acts of kindness.
Currently studying here.
PHILOSOPHY
Carpe Diem! Life is too short to worry about the past or prepare for the distant future. Just live.
Here are some of my favorite quotations that illustrate my personal philosophy:
"Know thyself."
-inscribed at the entrance to the Temple of Apollo at Delphi
"The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in."
-Morrie Schwartz, from "Tuesdays with Morrie"
"What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes part of us."
-Helen Keller
"Who sees all beings in his own Self, and his own Self in all beings, loses all fear."
-Isa Upanishad
"Some say blood is thicker than water; I say love is thicker than blood."
-Senator Paull Shin, Korean adoptee, 1999

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy watching movies (both commercial and art cinema); listening to music (genre depends on my mood), books (mostly non fiction).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Realized the purpose of traveling!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to meet people from different countries and nations and share/learn about the arts, culture, people and music.
Also, I can teach you a bit of English or a bit about Zoroastrianism, my religion or about India. I'm learning German and my mother-tongue, Persian, right now. I've felt the need to fluently read and write in the Persian. I've also thought about learning Hebrew and Kashmiri.
I'd love to learn from others what they can offer best.
Countries I’ve Visited
