ABOUT ME

This semester I'm a student at the University of Auckland, as part of my Bachelor of Nursing in Norway. Before nursing, I completed a BA in comparative literature and art theory. I love to travel and to experience the hidden treasures of a new place. I'm heading back to Norway in July, and on my way there I'll be stopping by Wellington, Nelson, Dunedin, the Cook Islands and Melbourne. I'm hoping to travel inexpensively and to meet some interesting people!

I love gigs in small bars, taste food I haven't tasted before, flea markets, bicycling, hiking in beautiful nature, the smell of libraries, visiting art exhibitions, swim in the ocean when it's raining, read graphic novels in the park.

I'm a big fan of films like Moonrise Kingdom, Breathless, True Romance, Frances Ha, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Mystery Train, Lost in Translation, My Neighbor Totoro.

TV-series I love are The Wire, Twin Peaks, Louie, Black Books, Bored to Death, Breaking Bad.

Some of the authors I really like are Jack Kerouac, Charles Bukowski, Sylvia Plath, Albert Camus, Haruki Murakami, Vladimir Nabokov.

I appreciate good music from a lot of different genres. I mostly listen to garage rock, hiphop, indie, rocksteady, northern soul, twee pop.
