Hey there! I'm a Norwegian girl who loves to travel, who loves adventure, to meet new people, learn new languages and customs, in general learn new stuff. I want to see the world in a different way, and look for beauty where nobody else does. I'm a freelance photographer and also trying to do some freelancing as a journalist. I rock climb, and I do slacklining, both things amazing for letting the mind go of everyday thoughts and problems. Reading is one of my greatest passions, and even though I love hanging out with friends and a good party, finding a quiet spot, in a park, next to a stream, on a desolate beach or in the mountains reading a good book or just listen to the sounds of nature is when I feel most at home and at peace.

Interesses

I love photography and have a weird fascination for clowns, so when I travel I tend to paint people's faces as clowns and put them in different situations and places to photograph for my grand clown project (if you are interested you can find some of my clowns on my webpage www.aastals.com or photography page on Facebook www.facebook.com/aastals ).

I love the outdoors and spending time in the nature hiking, climbing, slacklining and yoga. All kind of arts is also a great passion, from painting, illustrations, photography and street art to music and literature, I love to spend time in galleries and surround myself with artists who can inspire me to dig into my own creativity.

Oh and I love ice cream, like really really love ice cream (I almost missed a plane once because I couldn't leave the country without having some ice cream at least once). Wait, that's maybe more like an addiction than an interest...
