Overview
About Me
Right now, I am a traveller-to-be who can't stop daydreaming about all the places I want to go. All the places I will be in less than a week. I just finished my BA in International Studies and I'm free like a bird. I'm a chill person, easy to get along with, happy to engage in conversations on just about anything. I can be serious when I need to be and fun when I have nothing better to do. I love photographing street life, writing about the politics (or philosophy) of existence, braiding hair and going on long day hikes (off trail or on trail).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My favorite way of exploring new places is with people who know about it. :) This is how I've explored most of the US and Canadian West Coast.
Interests
I'm interested in secret routes, hidden treasures, unknown destinations, travel stories, midnight walks. I like exploring cities by walking through them, rather than in a car. So basically, the touristy stuff....no thank you. Time of exploration doesn't matter, cities can be magical at 3pm or 3am.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last summer I went on my first canoe trip up the Indian Arm in Vancouver. We started out at 6pm thinking our camp site would be an hour away. We overshot it by 5 hours and 10km. Ended up canoeing into the night and slept on a dock just before it started pouring. The next morning, the sunrise from the dock was MAGNIFICENT. The sketchy canoe trip paid off!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to play the guitar, ukulele, cello, clarinet, saxophone or even to read music. I can help you clean and fix your bike or broken cabinet or write in calligraphy . I can teach you to rebind your book or fix that broken cabinet door.
I want to learn how to longboard, cook different cuisines, or learn more words in any language, or how to experience your city.
I can share stories of travel along the Canadian and US West coast, thoughts, recipes and ideas for urban interventions.
