About Me
Hi there! I’m Estibaliz, an outgoing, friendly and open minded girl from The Basque Country. I work as a product and service designer in a city close to Bilbao and I love design, art, photography, sports, music, cinema…
But mainly, I love travelling, for the stories of the people, for the unforgettable experiences, for the culture and the food…
So, I would say that I enjoy meeting and sharing new experiences with people. I am friendly and I always try to stay positive and happy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I travel, I like to meet local people and share experiences with them. I believe it is the most enriching and authentic way of travelling because you can get to know the essence and the spirit of a place. Meeting people and sharing some moments with them allows you to learn about their, culture, language, gastronomy, way of doing... That otherwise you wouldn't get to know. I find this amazing.
At the same point I like to meet local people when I travel, I also like to meet travellers that want to visit and get to know the Basque Country's spirit. So even if I can't host anyone right now, I'm always free for a coffe and to show Bilbao and its surrondings.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you Spanish and Basque. ^^ I would also be very happy to show you how to cook a Tortilla de Patata, a traditional dish from Spain. It's quite simple (it's just made of potates, onions and eggs) but the outcome is delicious. I'm sure you will find it very tasty! :)
