About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My journey will start in Poland and I'm not sure where it will end. I am taking the summer to Wwoof, volunteer, teach english and explore my way south to Croatia. I will plan the rest of my year from there.
ABOUT ME
During university, my roommate and I hosted couch surfers and met some wonderful people. I am so excited to turn the tables and be a couch surfer myself this time.
I grew up in California, and have since lived in Spain, New York, Brazil and Chicago. I speak a little Spanish and a little Portuguese and am eager to become fluent in both. My favorite things about travel are the people I meet and the foods I eat.
PHILOSOPHY
The golden rule, treat others how you want to be treated. Life should be simple and so should the philosophy you live it by.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By surfing from couch to couch. Learning about the world and being inspired by the people I meet.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed with a woman in Brazil when I found myself on the wrong bus heading to a town with no available hostels. I met her on the bus and she opened her home to me for a night. I want to pass her kindness to others.
I've also hosted a number of couch surfers while I was living in New York. My roommate and I had so much fun getting to know them and learning about their cultures. Our first couch surfers were from France, they taught us to make crepes and I've been making them at home ever since.
Interests
Currently, I'm trying to learn about wines and become fluent in spanish. I love cooking, anything travel related, yoga, exploring new cities and going out with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
Mostly nonfiction books, live music in cafes and bars, and I don't watch to many movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I backpacked for a month from Salvador, Brazil down through minas-gerais and back to Rio by myself. I visited friends along the way. It was an amazing trip and it made me so much more confident in my ability to get things done independently and to not be afraid to be alone. Sometimes thats the best way to meet others.
Teach, Learn, Share
Forever a student
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a good cook and would be happy to make a meal for my host or hosts. I worked as an assistant to a pastry chef for a few months and cake make very good desserts. I would love to exchange recipes.
