A social worker/teacher/facilitator by trade who loves working and playing with folks of all ages. I was raised in a small town though I've spent the better part of the last 10 years in cities, sharpening my skills as an educator, therapist, community activist and youth development programmer.

Music, Movies, and Books
i dont actively pursue movies or music as a hobby, though i do enjoy many titles and artists when i come across them. as for movies, i tend to like dark comedies. in the music dept, i grew up listening to classic rock, spent my teenage years exploring the local ska & punk scene, and more recently find myself drawn to all sorts of music (though still a good deal of punk rock).
books--i like non-fiction. as of late i've been reading about perennials, red-tailed hawks in central park, composting and meditation.
Teach, Learn, Share
i have experience making meals for groups as large as 30 folks, am an attuned reiki practitioner, have a wee little bit of gardening knowledge, can swing a hammer, stack firewood & make shampoo, and have tons of experience with children from 0-15. i would be down to barter any of these to learn new skills, esp those related to agriculture and/or learning from experienced consultants/jack-of-all-trades.
