About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to solve the question, where are you from? the answer is still in the workings. and one last swim before christmas!!

ABOUT ME

Well I am here in Den Haag in between studies working as an au-pair among other things. I am learning French and doing some voluntary work and learning how to be an ace kick boxer!! I just graduated from Wales in politics, and am planning to do a Masters next year. I am becoming famous for my hats so it seems (oh and for partying too much)! Really enjoying the Hague and have met some fantastic people that makes it all the more wonderful for being here!

PHILOSOPHY

To live everyday with as much fun and enthusiasm as possible, and look for challenges along the way. I try not to believe in boredom or regrets. To smile! Simply to enjoy and be around wonderful people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

well I am a regular attendee of the meetings here in Den Haag and take the role of checking out the night life very seriously, so I can pass on the info to new couch surfers. I can't offer a couch but a coffee or something else!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before the Hague I didn't know about CS, but have done quite a lot of travelling and can relate to when this would have been an ideal thing to use. I love the concept and usually the people are just great. It's brill!

Music- pretty much anything, but in particualr funk jazz, jamie cullum, the Waifs, Otis Redding, paolo natini, Zero 7...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent my childhood travlling and got to live in Dubai and Turkey and parts of Africa and so I think this is one of the best things I have done yet, and for which I am most grateful to my parents.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have completed a TESOL course, and play the flute and saxophone. I love dancing and although am not very good would love to find someone to do this with or teach me, esp salsa! I would like to improve my French and learn some Dutch and continue playing badminton. I am a keen runner and am considering doing a run next year if I can get fit enough.
