Overview
About Me
I did (long ago) do some hosting on Couchsurfing back in 2009, though, it never crossed my mind to Couchsurf. I love the experience of meeting, getting to know, and enjoying life together with those from different cultures, and places. In the end we always discover commonalities plus a deeper appreciation for one another's differences/uniqueness, opening up our mind and lessening narrow mindedness in general, and I love that because it breeds tolerance, and love. I always enjoy staying in touch when that happens! I enjoy knowing where to go when in cities I'm unfamiliar with, and help or insight with that will be much appreciated as I travel about.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I work a lot, but took a sabbatical to travel Sep 2, 2017. I enjoy being in a hospitable home experiencing diversity as opposed to a hotel. I enjoy experiencing new things that others have to share with me, and community is valuable to me, as well as missions. I enjoy all the opportunities life affords me to give back.
Traveling a country (or a city) with the help of a local and being able to see hidden locals' haunts has always been my favourite part of traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love just about any music that is uplifting, and do not watch much TV if any at all. Really enjoy reading quite a bit and am currently reading, "A Walk to Beautiful", by Jimmy Wayne.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sitting on the edge of the Grand Canyon and hanging out at North Rim with two couch-surfers under the stars was definitely an amazing experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
My motto is the golden rule. I strive to leave people better off than they were before I met them. I truly enjoy sharing, teaching, and encouraging people in mental health, and mental illness - improving awareness of stigmas and incorrect beliefs. I am someone who opens others up to challenging their current belief systems in encouraging and loving ways that are fun.
Countries I’ve Lived In
England, United States
