Overview
About Me
I recently finished a long solo backpacking trip that took me 14 months through Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. I'm originally from a small town but have lived in New York for the past 6 years and now call Santiago home. I got my degree, worked for a bit then desided responsibilities are no fun so I quit and decided to travel. I used and loved the CS way of life while I was traveling, and am looking to now live vicariously through my guests.
I love to go out and make the most of everyday. I'm a very positive person, always laughing and smiling and cracking jokes. I keep going and going until I finally pass out and after a good long sleep, I'm ready for the next adventure! I am known back home for going out with friends and somewhere along the way home I make friends with people and end up tagging along on their next destination for the night! Makes for some great brunch stories 😆
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really enjoy exchanging cultures and the fast friends culture of CS has given me some stories for the grandkids! I'm from a small town so that comfortable feeling that you get with a host that feels immediately like you have known them forever is the true gem about the experience.
Interests
Anything active, running, biking, hiking, anything that has to do with water, I will try anything.. Usually using peer pressure to get people to follow me on dangerous or off the path adventures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cliff jumping 20 meters into a sink hole in Oman... Also one of the least intelligent.
This is always the hardest question, I think my experiences are based more on the personal connections I make in a city than just the city itself. People are usually surprised when I say my favorite places have been some small city in a country with many famous cities (here's
looking at you Germany)
Teach, Learn, Share
I will gladly help anyone with their English and can also offer up some advice on how to cook a mean lasagna!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm always up for the beer and the banter or a tea.
