Overview
About Me
I'm currently studying to become an Anesthesiology Assistant. But in between long clinical days (and the studying that goes with it), I enjoy cooking, trying new restaurants, nerding out over coffee, hiking/backpacking (I did grown up in Colorado after all...) and generally being outdoors. I'm also very good a taking road trips and have driven cross country enough times that I almost consider myself a professional. It's definitely taught me to enjoy the journey and not just the destination. It's cliche but true and very much my life's story.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My grad program allows us to rotate at different hospitals of our choice all over the US. I'll be on the road for a few months and am looking for a place to stay in those respective cities. But with hefty student loans, I'm looking for housing alternatives. I'm mostly just looking for a place to sleep, clean up, cook and study.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite Music: lots of Indie music, the Lumineers, jazz, and classical (If you know of good local bands, I'd love to know!)
Favorite Movies: action/drama, and pretty much any movie by Nora Ephron, but truthfully I don't watch very many movies..
Favorite Books: honestly I'm just reading textbooks right now so I'll have to get back to you on that
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to teach biology and anatomy. I might not know all the answers but I'd love to share what I do know about the world around us. I'm also pretty passionate about cooking so I'd love to learn more and share what I do know. I really enjoy learning about other people's passions and their life stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Studying (particularly biology or medicine), cooking lessons or helping out with meals, food/coffee recommendations for places I've visited, a willing adventurer
