I am currently a junior in college studying Biology. I have always loved traveling and got my first taste of traveling abroad in high school, and have been looking for opportunities to travel more ever since. I lead a relatively active lifestyle and I like to do a lot of things outdoors. Some of my favorite things to do on a free day are going to the beach, rock climbing, or hanging out with friends. My most recent trip was to Utah with some friends, where we spent some time sport climbing outside, followed by a few days of skiing. I look forward to exploring the natural beauty of wherever I visit, as well as the city life and all it has to offer. My goal is to make deep connections with both the people and the place that I am visiting. I am very open to whatever comes my way and I always like to try new things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've traveled a lot around the United States, and have no plans on stopping. I am very interested in expanding my ventures abroad, and I think the best way to make the most of an abroad experience, whether short or long, is to experience it with the people who live there. I want to try to learn about the cultures that I am visiting from the people who make up that culture. I have heard that couch surfer has been a great resource for many people and I am very excited to give it a try. I'd like to think that I am easy-going and low maintenance, so this seems like a good site for me. My goal is to make the most of my travels and I hope this is a good way to do it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a huge fan of lots of music, but most recently I have been on a Beatles phase with some more recent music mixed in. As for movies, I am a lover of everything from the Dead Poets Society to the newest Marvel release and my most recent reads have been by Dan Brown.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm making a slight alteration to this to make it one amazing thing I've seen, which would be the solar eclipse. I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time to witness the most recent solar eclipse over the Unites States in totality and it made me determined to see another.
