Overview
About Me
I grew up in south Manchester, played lots of sports, headed to Nottingham for university, then to London for a few years, then moved up to Edinburgh in 2013. I love nature and walking up hills, so am much happier up here than in mega cities. I originally studied Music, then did a conversion course in Computer Science and worked as a developer until September 2016 when I headed off on an RTW trip!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet up with fellow travellers, share travel tips, practice my really rather rubbish abilities to speak other languages and generally hang out with like-minded types. Meeting locals rather on the road also sounds like a great opportunity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Completed my "Category A" skydive license at uni, allowing me to jump out of planes solo. That was nigh on ten years ago now, though sadly. Since then... I think trekking in the Annapurnas in Nepal has been the highlight. Also, I developed a great recipe for lemon drizzle cake when a friend asked me to bake part of her wedding cake.
