Overview
About Me
I graduated from Lewis-Clark State College in the spring of 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Spanish. While in college, I worked as a science tutor, as a lifeguard, and as a genetics research assistant, where I studied the Y chromosome in fruit flies. I volunteered at my town’s free clinic, where I prepared medications, shadowed physicians, and gave health presentations to patients. After Peace Corps, I hope to pursue a Master’s of Bioinformatics.
Currently, I work at a youth center in Morocco, where I share my love of learning with a gaggle of eager students. In my free time, you can find me jogging (slowly), reading in excess, wasting entire days in quaint cafes, taking naps at parties, and admiring craft beers ad nauseam. I also consider myself a tea aficionado, and was once described as having a “gangly elegance."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a novice on CS, but in the time that I've lived abroad, I've realized just how much all people have in common. I love this platform's message, and I'm eager to meet people from every corner of the globe.
Interests
I'm a fierce Yelper, and I also review books on Goodreads. I can't decide whether this is cool or lame, but I suppose you can be the judge of that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After living in my hometown for my entire life, I decided to live in Morocco for two years. It was a big decision, but I'm grateful I did it. I love living here and realizing just how much I have to learn.
Teach, Learn, Share
Help me learn your language, and I'll do my best to teach you mine! I studied Spanish in college, but I need more conversational practice!
