CURRENT MISSION

I'm close to finishing one chapter of my life, and am just trying to enjoy the time I have left before moving on to the next part.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 22 year old lady who enjoys reading, playing games, crafting, or just plain ol' hanging out. I've lived in one place most of my life, so I'm excited to go somewhere new!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm still decided what my place is in this world, but so far I believe that you should do what makes you happy, as long as you aren't harming another physically, mentally, or emotionally, and I try to live my life the same way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is my first time doing anything like this. I can help out and do chores if I stay at your place, and can maybe even bake for you if able!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've neither couchsurfed nor hosted anyone for couchsurfing, so this will technically be a new experience. In high school, however, I did host a German exchange student, so there's that.

兴趣

Lots of stuff! I love reading, playing video games, watching movies, making crafts, baking, hanging out, or just browsing the Internet. I play soccer and love it, though I'm average at best. Music is something else I enjoy, so don't be surprised if you find me humming or singing to myself.

Reading- I'm not too picky when it comes to books. If it has a good plot, good characters and is well-written, I'll read it, no matter the genre. Generally, though, I tend to lean towards supernatural/comedy/mystery sorts, but I'm open to anything.

Video games- Legend of Zelda series, Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, Infamous, Original Spyro Trilogy, Left 4 Dead, Portal 1 & 2, and Psychonauts name just a few of my favorites.

Movies- I am very picky about which movies I enjoy. An early love of Mystery Science Theater 3000 and satirical works from Mel Brooks have shaped (i.e. ruined) the way I see movies. My favorite is Airplane! and comedies, but I enjoy action, sci-fi, fantasy, and romance movies as well. The only genre I don't like is horror- I am a scaredy-cat, and that's okay.

Music- I like to listen to alternative, classic rock, soundtracks, classical, and some jazz. I pretty much enjoy anything except constant country- there is only so much a girl can take.

I zip-lined down a small strip in Las Vegas. It was a pretty short ride, and was cold, but I had fun.

I can tell you about the bones in the body! I also have a habit of memorizing songs and lines from movies and shows, so I can recite a bit for you if I know it.

I'd like to work on my German, if possible, as it's rather rusty. Learning a new instrument would be cool, or some phrases in a different language. Actually, if someone could show me how to properly ride a skateboard, that'd be neat, because boy-howdy do I suck.
