About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To remain out of my comfort zone so long that I don't have one.
ABOUT ME
Married to an awesome big kid/gamer named Andy. We have a happy family of Andy and I, Ben (our ferret), and Doodles (our cat). My work in school and the community is focused on activism and respect for (and education from) people who are homeless and others who have suffered the short end of capital's stick. I love meeting people and working on community projects that inspire us all to care more about what is around us.
PHILOSOPHY
Everyone deserves a chance, and I don't know much about much, so I should keep learning from others. I feel lucky to have had so many opportunities in my life, so I take advantage of them and try to create opportunities for others to enjoy life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf and have a couch for surfing. I try to be available to have people stay, but I'm out of town a lot, so I apologize if I can't accommodate you when you're in town!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted a lot of people on my couches over the years, all friends that found themselves in a temporarily homeless situation or just those that liked a lot of companionship and free rent!
Interests
Love running and rock climbing; they clear my head like nothing else. Then I need stimulating conversation to fill my head with good things.

Music, Movies, and Books
Simon Pegg movies! Also, I'm always interested in good documentaries (like Gleaners and I), so let me know if you know of any. Talking Heads, and Joe Henry are the all-time music favorites. I haven't read a book for fun in a long time, but J.D. Salinger is my favorite author.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have experienced some of the most beautiful friendships that I can imagine.
Teach, Learn, Share
Rock climbers--don't let go of the ATC! No really, I'm not sure what I know...ask me for gardening tips, I guess. I've found that the best education comes out of a discussion, so let's have one!
