ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Abbi! The girl who can't sit still, the wanderer and explorer. I originate from a small town in Northern Ireland, somewhere near the famous Giants Causeway. I haven't lived there in 8 years however. I embarked on a journey to travel to and live in New Zealand in 2011, and ended up staying for a few years before my feet got itchy again.

I am currently taking the long way home (wherever that may be) by travelling and adventuring around Asia.

I consider myself to be a friendly, adventurous girl. Generally quiet at first, but love the outdoors, photography, and a good conversation over a glass or two of wine.

PHILOSOPHY

You get out what you put in. Stop sitting around waiting for life to happen. Stop dreaming of doing and go and grab life by the neck and DO IT!

I am happy to host (when I have a more permanent address), otherwise if you need advice on travelling New Zealand let me know. It was my home for 2.5 years.

Couch surfed in Malaysia, and want to do it as often as possible in South East Asia
Hosted a few American travellers in November 2013, but not through CS

Love a good movie .. more so on the couch at home, with a good lot of snacks on board. Mostly into romantic comedies, but have got into action and psychological thrillers at times.
Music - I have an odd taste. I generally like whatever is on the radio, but at times have been known to listen to classical or rock.
Books - not a big book reader beyond travel guides.

I worked in palliative care for a few years, and it really made me look at life with a new perspective, and to enjoy every moment.
