Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I went to New Orleans with a friend once and she wanted to couch surf. I had never done it before and was skeptical; however, it was a truly lovely experience and I don't think we would have experienced the city the same way without our host. I want to get to know every city I visit authentically and you can't do that as a tourist.
