Hello! My partner James and I are traveling for a few months! I just finished working as a health teacher in Albania, and James does private contracting back home. We love connecting with folks and spending quality time exploring new places, walking around cities, going on adventures in nature, sharing good foods and drinks, playing cards, and exchanging culture!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love connecting with locals. It can be difficult to meet people and have deep authentic connections when just passing through a hostle with other tourists or paying for a possibly indifferent guide. We hope connecting on couch surfers can create space for long-lasting friendships.

Music, Movies, and Books

We both enjoy listening to inde, jazz, folk and alternate music, along with some classic rock, reggae and occasionally edm and drumb and bass. We also love science podcasts, science fiction movies, romcoms, and easy watching shows. I also listen to a lot of audio books and am always looking for recommendations.

Gone scuba diving in the Red Sea! We saw so many incredible animals!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an artist and love to make things beautiful and teach others crafts like crochet. I also have experience as a teacher and can help with English skills and biology. James is very handy and can offer help with matinance and repairs around the home. We love to learn new skills, especially when helping a new friend with projects. We are both fit and have some gardening and livestock knowledge, and we would love to learn more! We also love to cook with others and share a good meal.

What I Can Share with Hosts
