I am an American au pair living in beautiful Australia. In 2016-17 I did the same thing for 11 months in Germany. I quit my job, put my belongings in storage, and changed my lifestyle. I chose my own path and it changed my life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because my friends and I typically have different schedules, I often travel solo so I’d like to meet new people along the way! I love talking to locals and learning about the area. Because of my travels and living in different countries, I now have friends from all over the globe. They’re always welcome with me at home in the States, and I know that I’ll get to meet up with familiar faces during future adventures.

I enjoy sharing travel tips and stories from my unique adventures- My most treasured memories are of random or off-the-beaten-path things like dog sledding, Northern Lights chasing, snorkeling in Iceland, staying at a convent in Rome (cheap accom and very interesting- ask me about it!), and driving way up north in my beautiful state, Minnesota.
