Why I’m on Couchsurfing

did a lot of couchsurfing while I lived in Denmark and have done some back in the US, but would love to get some more experiences with it now. I loved getting to meet the local hosts on my travels. Such a different experience than just staying in a hotel or even AirBnb.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music... Lots. And if there's clapping or snapping in it, there's an even better chance I'll like it.

Books about true stories of interesting characters. Memoirs are the best. Like The Glass Castle and all of David Sedaris. Wind-up Bird Chronicles also had my brain totally intrigued.

All kinds of movies except scifi. The Jerk is always #1.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Couchsurfed and hitchiked around Switzerland for my first trip out of the country on my own. SUCH a great experience. Beautiful hiking, delicious food, met awesome characters along the way including a host that welcomed me to his grandmother's dairy farm-- got fresh milk in my coffee and everything.
