About Me
ABOUT ME
Travelling has been a part of my life forever, be it travelling between houses as a kid or discovering my own country and others as a teenager and young adult. I believe travelling is as much about discovering new sceneries, new ways of life and new people as it is about discovering yourself and finding your way in life.
For now, I am a graduate student in Political science at the University of Quebec in Montreal, where I also did my undergrad studies in International relations and international law. After I'm done with my degree, I would love to take a gap year to work abroad or in Canada but outside of my home state, before heading to San Diego for my PhD.
Through my everyday life, my studies and my travels, I am looking to meet new people, share experiences and discoveries as well as get to know more about other cultures and point of views.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As part of my master degree, I did a field study on the US/Mexico border, and used that as an opportunity to road trip through the US for a month. During my trip, my roommate, who is on couchsurfing, introduced me to this great community and I've had the opportunity to meet people from all across the US. Couchsurfing is one of my great discoveries from that trip and I would love to be able to host people while I'm in Montreal and have the opportunity to travel through their experiences as well as meet people from all around the world.
Interests
During semesters, studying is a big part of my life, but I definitely need some distraction time. During those, I enjoy reading books not related to my classes, seeing friends, discovering new places in my city, hike or do other outdoor activities, like biking. Music is also a big part of my life. I used to play various instruments, but for now I'm enjoying the music of others. Becoming a vegetarian at 12 got me into cooking and being in the kitchen is a creative outlet and calming activity for me. I am always on the move and love to try new things! And obviously, I can't live without traveling!

Music, Movies, and Books
The list would be way too long! Lets just say that I love international movies, more books than I can list here and pretty much every type of music (although I still have to get used to electronic music). I'm always looking for new suggestions of books to read, bands to look up, and movies to watch.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In July 2017, my roommate and I went on a cross-country road trip across the United States. In a month, we saw 26 States, met amazing people and saw every kind of sceneries from the mountains to the ocean and the desert. Through this trip, I also discovered more about myself which makes it a trip I will never forget.
