About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to be me and do stuff... cool stuff

ABOUT ME

I am me. I love all things beautiful. Reading, dancing, riding horses, traveling, laughing, singing, drinking coffee, making art, watching movies, and listening to music are especially dear to my heart. I enjoy learning about people and where they come from.

PHILOSOPHY

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, in a totally nonreligious sort of way.
Love people.
Be kind to one another.
Have fun.
Laugh often, laugh well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to the whole couchsurfting thing, but I'm looking forward to participating more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a great experience couchsurfing one night in Minneapolis. (Great city, do go.)

Interests

I love to read and take pictures. I spend a good deal of time on Facebook and staying in contact with my friends through Twitter and Instagram. I crochet and will do just about anything outdoors that doesn't require too much athleticism. I'm not fat, but physical activity isn't my go to activity. I love Dr. Who and am catching up on Netflix. I've also gotten into yoga this year. I'm always trying to expand my musical exposure. I sing and I drink a lot of water.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies. Where do I even start? Movies are like my personal sanctuary. I love them. Good ones have something special that adds value to my life, at the very least a different perspective.
Music. It's like happy juice. I've gotten into a lot of indie rock, something like if Sara Bareilles and Nate Ruess had a baby...
Books. They are the bread and butter of my mind. I feel rich when I'm around them. I used to think I needed to remember everything in them, but now I know what will stick will stick and the rest will integrate just like it's meant to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a dance showcase one time with my brother. It was fantastic. I had my hair and make-up all did and I wore this adorable blue dress (which is my favorite color). My brother is a gem and we dance like a dream. It was wonderful.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm willing to teach anything I know. I have a skill set in managing consciousness called Avatar.
I have some cooking skills.
I am really good at washing dishes.
I have some artistic skills, but mostly they are self-taught. I'd love to learn from other people's perspectives- especially about their experiences in life that may be different from mine, or the same.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, England, Mexico
