My current objective in life is to, well, experience life.

ABOUT ME

Hey! I'm a graduate student studying ecology and evolutionary biology at the University of Toronto. I'm friendly, optimistic, good-humoured, polite, adventurous, and occasionally sarcastic. I enjoy The Great Outdoors, but I also love city life.

I'm a big fan of travelling (as I'm sure all couchsurfers are), having lived in England for two years when I was younger I managed to visit many areas of Europe before returning home to Canada. Since then, I have been on a travelling hiatus to provide me with the time I needed to get situated in a university program.

Now however, I'd like to get back on the travelling circuit while finishing school. How might I do this? While, it turns out I'll be living in Sweden for the 2013/2014 academic year. I managed to be accepted for an exchange program that will allow me to focus on aquatic ecology, a subject I hope to study in graduate school. Between my studies, I'm really hoping to find some time to visit my surrounding areas and I think couchsurfing would be a great way to do so.

I currently cannot host, but depending on the living arrangements I find in Sweden, I may be able to host in September.

Interests

Scuba (open water certified), kayaking, canoeing, Richard Dawkins, travelling (obvious...), bike riding, French language, learning, meeting new people and trying new things.
