About Me
Hi! I’m a 19 year old girl, who will be travelling around Europe in January and February 2020. I’m a Malaysian living in Melbourne, Australia!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I’m still in university, I haven’t had a significant amount of time to save a large amount of money, but I’m refusing to let that stop me from travelling. I think meeting people and finding out about their life experience and culture is so so cool. I know that my short time in cities won’t ever be enough to give me a full idea of a country or its culture, and I think meeting locals will give a much more realistic idea of culture :)
Interests
Singing, dancing, editing, writing, creating in any capacity. Also playing the self taught guitar and ukelele!
Music, Movies, and Books
About 90% of my playlist is by Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes and Tori Kelly, I pretty much listen to pop and acoustic music! I kinda love psychological thrillers (The Prestige, Inception, Shutter Island etc). And I have read too many books in my lifetime to choose a favourite. I literally read everything and love most!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did a solo travelling trip in Europe last winter and it was so amazing that I’m doing it again! I don’t have a lot of life experiences unfortunately, but another amazing thing I’ve done was start a YouTube channel to document my memories.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some simple guitar and ukelele chords and I can teach you some Malay and Chinese! I would love to learn some new languages and just more about your culture.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My enthusiasm for life, deep conversations about philosophical perspectives (unfortunately limited by my measly amount of worldly experience) and an insight into the culture of Malaysia and Australia. Also offering a quality friendship :)
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, China, Croatia, France, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam
Countries I’ve Lived In
