ABOUT ME
Hi there! I'm Abby, a 24 year-old American currently living and working as an English language assistant in Madrid, Spain. This is my fourth time back in Spain and I am excited to keep exploring and learning about this amazing country.
PHILOSOPHY
The joy is in the journey, not in the getting there. Whether I have a destination (physical or personal) in mind or not, it always seems that the most interesting, memorable and unexpected lessons in life happen along the journey.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately, my current living situation doesn't have space for visitors, but I'm always down for meeting new people. If you are traveling to or currently in Madrid/Spain, I'd love to meet up and hear about your experiences while exploring this amazing city!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm a newbie to the Couchsurfing game, but I've heard nothing but great things about it.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
The Camino de Santiago! Last summer, I walked the Camino Frances across the north of Spain from Roncesvalles to Finisterre. We walked for 35 days and covered about 900 kilometers. It was the adventure of a lifetime. If you are interested in doing this pilgrimage or learning more about my experience...message me! I'd love to share.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I am able to teach others about the English language and one person's perspective on what it is like to grow up culturally American. I would love to learn about other people's experiences traveling and any lessons they might have learned along the way. I also love history and am interested in learning more about modern Spanish history.
