ABOUT ME
I am an educator of 5 year olds. This usually shows through in my vocabulary use, and somewhat playful attitude towards life. I believe that every day is the best day ever, until the next day comes. I love music, the outdoors, and my husband's gigantic beard. I also enjoy brewing beer and trying out new breweries in the area.
PHILOSOPHY
Try everything. You only live once. Failure is something to build on. If you don't succeed, try a different way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'll surf couches when needed, host people who need couches, and meet up with people who need to be shown the city!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
One of my friends hosted a guy who was biking to Niagara Falls from Missouri, I had to pick him up, because my friend was at work. I picked him up off the side of the highway near a prison, that had "Do not pick up hitch-hikers" signs. We laughed, cooked dinner, and had a good time.

Music, Movies, and Books
All kinds of tunes.
Not a big movie watcher.
I love non-fiction, but my old boss at a bookstore used to say all of my favorite books are fiction, so maybe I love both.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Done- Shutting down the Capitol Coal Plant in DC. It was beyond amazing and I met some really great people....
Seen- Austin Texas. The Green Belt.. it was amazing!!! Nature in the middle of the city.. BEAUTIFUL!!! The Pacific Coast! Also, I moved to California for a few months after college and drove across the country twice, I saw a lot of amazing things that I didn't realize existed in America.
Teach, Learn, Share
