I (Abby) live with my amazing husband (Jim) in Battle Creek, MI, along with our two doodles, Noel (10) and Zazu (1). Jim is an OB nurse and yoga teacher, I am a manager at a community college. We have a strong love for nature, yoga, adventure, kindness, and helping others. We are pretty chill and easy going, don't drink, and love to be outside. We don't get a lot of requests in Battle Creek, but are happy to host whenever we can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have surfed throughout mexico and central america. I hosted and became a cs ambassador while living in Boise, ID. Locals know an area better than anyone else! Everytime I couchsurf I can't imagine a better way to travel. I have surfed in Puerto Rico, Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and the States. Every experience has been absolutely amazing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a surfer we love to help out around the house with dishes, cooking, cleaning, yard work, or maintenance (Jim is a handyman). We both teach meditation and yoga, so we can share that as well.
