Overview
About Me
I'm a road trip addict. I love exploring new places and finding a sense of adventure. I've lived in Oregon my whole life, but having moved around the state a lot, I can find the breathtaking remote campsites and hidden hot springs in just about any part of the state I visit.
Things that cheer me up are tea, soup, pretty lights, exploring beautiful architecture, dancing (like to country music in the living room, not at a bar), paper books, and cute things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of getting to meet new people in my travels and learn from them about the areas I visit. Also, honestly, I'll take a road trip any chance I get. The price of staying in hotels while I travel could add up to the cost of going on two trips instead of one.
Interests
I love nature and spending time in it, especially if I can bring my border collie along (he likes exploring almost as much as I do). I have a strange obsession with heights, so I constantly find myself climbing and perching on top of trees, guard rails, cliffs, etc while my friends stand way back and tell me to be careful. I also love exploring cities and buildings, especially really large or odd shaped buildings. I'm a bit of a night owl, so I love sneaking out under the stars with my camera to get pictures of them. If I'm in a bad mood it can almost always be fixed by a cup of hot tea that's just barely cool enough to drink.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music is the kind where you can tell that the artist poured their heart and soul into it. I like to *feel* my music. I also love good audio quality and some nice bass. The same rule goes for movies and books, I'm a sucker for a good story that sucks me in and gives me all the feels. I also love going deep down a sci-fi or fantasy rabbit hole, and I love lighthearted comedy.
I don't like horror, paranormal (like evil/scary) stories, or things with really depressing, obscene, violent & gory content all the way through.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share stories about the forest and all the camping skills I've picked up over the years.
