To figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life, by having some crazy epiphany-rendering experience-hence the need to have as many life-changing experiences as possible!

ABOUT ME

Hello! After finishing up a year of Americorps in Lawrence, KS, I moved down to Austin and am jumping right in. This place is fantastic! Beautiful, full of talented, wonderful people, and there is music around every corner...literally!

At the beginning of the year, I spent three months in Israel and the West Bank, something I've been wanting to do for a long time. I have A LOT to say about that, but I will save that for when you arrive! Notably, I had only lived in Austin for five months before I took off, but I still had this strong yearning to come back afterwards. To me, that is the sign of a truly special place.

About me: I am a very happy-go-lucky person, with a positive attitude, and I have a good time wherever I go! I am so intrigued by other cultures and ways of life, because I know that I have seen such a small portion of what's out there.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is WAY too short, so you have to surround yourself with wonderful people and do wonderful things. Have no regrets.

When I was studying abroad in Hungary, I traveled for a month and a half, having many amazing experiences along the way, including the privilege of staying with a Buddhist monk for four days in Lerici, Italy.

Waking up on a tiny island in the Carribean, off the coast of Honduras, called Utila. The best places are the least touristy!
