To do well in grad school.....but still find time to have fun and see the world!

ABOUT ME

I am a huge nerd. I love star wars, lord of the rings, firefly, etc. I also love to travel. I backpacked through Europe for two months after college and I go hiking in Israel about once a year. I was a member of the Austin RHPS cast 'Queerios' and I will probably drag you to a showing. I am not a heavy drinker but I can take you around Austin and introduce you to awesome games like Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, and Citadel. I'm a burner and a maker.

I live with my husband who is a PhD student in Computer Science. He is also a nerd and he is a big video game player. He is a maker- our apartment is covered in electronics so if you are the arduino-loving kind of person you should definitely stay with us.

We are always up for good conversation, hanging out at the alamo draft house, watching movies, and anything else like that. I am a proud member of New York's Improveverywhere and I LOVE big Urban Games (pillowfights, ravenchase, etc.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran a small 3rd-run movie theater when I lived in Cleveland. Also I have hiked in the swiss alps, jumped off cliffs in Cancun, stayed in a Beduin tent in the Negev desert, and slept on a park bench in Munich
